Maker's paint Identification
Identification of gunning paint is probably one of the hardest guesses there is on old decoys. I have placed identification on the below decoys by traits I have noticed on original paint decoys, or advice I have received by knowledgeable collectors. Please feel free to send your comments as to the paint seen on any decoy on this web site. I am trying to identify as many of the decoys as I can.
